Singers

Elizabeth Glen trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and her career as a professional singer has taken her all around the world.

She spent 3 months of 1998 touring Europe and the USA, performing the roles of Fides and Misericordia in the "Sequentia" production of the medieval music drama "Ordo Virtutum". The tour included 3 performances at the Lincoln Center Festival, New York, and a performance for the 1998 Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, which was broadcast live on Radio 3. Reviews for this production were glowing, and Elizabeth's performance was particularly mentioned in "The Times" (London) and "Bay Windows" (Boston, USA). She also performed in the 1999 Melbourne International Festival in Australia.

Zoë trained at the Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she graduated in 1995. Her teachers since then have included the late Mary Thomas and Alison Pearce, both of them professors at the Royal Academy of Music.

Her operatic roles have included Antonia in Tales of Hoffman, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro and Dido in Dido and Aeneas.

Recent oratorio work has included Bach’s Magnificat with Cantoris in Wellington, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and the demanding soprano role in Carmina Burana. She also enjoys giving recitals and concerts, most recently exploring repertoire for clarinet, voice and piano of Schubert and Spohr. She has been guest soloist with the world renowned Morriston Orpheus Choir.

Beth Harrison

Beth Harrison trained with Elizabeth Glen, and has sung with Lyrica for 4 years. She has sung as a soloist for the Karl Jenkins oratorio “The Armed Man”, and has performed in many concerts, weddings and functions. She specialises in contemporary and jazz works, and recently premiered a new work by a Birmingham based composer, Jeremy Clay.
As well as singing with Lyrica, Beth has a busy performance schedule singing with the jazz-funk band “The J-Tones” singing at parties, functions and balls.

Rosie Secker

Rosie is experienced in singing classical, choral, chamber, jazz, Baroque and musical theatre. Recent solo performance work includes Bach's St. Matthew's Passion, and various roles in the Baroque Opera, Psyche. She has also given solo recitals of opera arias and classical music.
Her flexible voice and performing experience has seen her as a soloist with the acclaimed gospel choir “Youthful Spirit”, and as an oratorio soloist for Mozart’s “Requiem”, Faure’s “Requiem”, and Janacek’s “The Lords Prayer”.
She also sings in 4-part vocal ensemble 'Soul Interlude'.

Kiran has sung as soloist for the Mozarts Requiem, Vivaldi Magnificat, and Jenkins “The Armed Man”. With “Youthful Spirit” a gospel choir, she performed in the ensemble and as a soloist in the UK and on tours of Austria and Greece. As well as singing with Lyrica, she performs in the Soul Quartet “Soul Interlude”. She was awarded the Ken Redfern Memorial Prize for Music in 2006.

Emma is an accomplished singer and actor, and trained in singing and performing arts at the Bridge Theatre Training Company, London. Solo concert work includes Summer Season Shows in the South West, solo oratorio work in Prague and the UK, and many wedding and jazz engagements, as well as recordings with “Lyrica”.

Anna Clarke has sung with Lyrica for several years. Her warm jazz voice has graced many concerts and jazz evenings as a soloist and in ensemble with Lyrica.
